Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the Acute Care for Elders (ACE) unit at UAB Highlands. You will provide holistic geriatric care, promote health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires a nursing degree, active Alabama RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required by unit. This full-time PM shift position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in Alabama required or eligible.
• BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to promote health and prevent illness.
• Delegate, coordinate and manage all aspects of nursing care.
• Deliver patient care in collaboration with the patient, family and health care team.
