Job summary
UAB Medicine's ACE Unit at Highlands in Birmingham, AL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care on a 26-bed unit. You will work under nursing leadership to coordinate patient care during a single night shift.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing required, 18 months of related experience preferred.
- Currently licensed or eligible as RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- BLS from AHA required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
- ACLS certification required within six months from date of hire.
- PALS or comparable certification may be required within six months depending on unit.
Responsibilities
- Direct nursing service activities for the duration of one shift under nursing leadership.
- Provide professional nursing care for patients in the assigned unit.
- Coordinate patient care, personnel, and physician/interdisciplinary collaboration.]
- Support administrative duties as needed.
