Job summary

UAB Medicine's ACE Unit at Highlands is seeking a registered nurse to provide holistic geriatric care on a 26-bed unit. You will use nursing processes to promote health, prevent illness, and support patients and families in care decisions within a multidisciplinary team.

This role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, Alabama RN eligibility, and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on the unit. UAB Medicine offers comprehensive benefits and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Active RN license in Alabama or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide care and counsel.
• Coordinate data gathering, assessment, and evaluation of health problems.
• Deliver care in collaboration with patients, families and the health team.
