Job summary

GEI is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee the Geotechnical and Construction Services Teams in Washington State, with involvement in Hawaii and South Pacific practices. You will manage daily operations, support the Branch Manager and Leaders, and make on-site decisions to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering consulting experience.
• BS in civil engineering; an advanced degree preferred.
• Ability to develop and expand business opportunities with new clients.
• Commitment to GEI’s partnership culture.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams to meet objectives.
• Ability to coach and mentor staff and build relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong quality and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide management, business development, technical, strategic planning, and financial leadership.
• Lead field presence and act as on-site licensed engineer as needed, guiding contractors.
• Achieve growth, staffing, backlog, and profitability objectives.
• Coordinate, lead, and mentor Geotechnical and Construction Services Teams.
• Support professional development and maintain high employee engagement.
• Communicate operational information across GEI teams.
