Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Superintendent to join our Underpinning & Foundations team in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role oversees field operations, ensuring safety, timely delivery, and ethical conduct while coordinating with project design, budget and schedule.

You will supervise field labor and assistant superintendents, bringing a geotechnical construction background and strong scheduling/leadership skills to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering; geotechnical preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of geotechnical construction experience (deep excavation & foundations).
• Understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations in assigned areas, ensuring safety, timeliness, profitability, and ethical standards.
• Ensure work aligns with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule.
• Direct supervision of field labor forces and assistant superintendents.
