Houston Engineering is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Manager to lead and direct our geotechnical practice, overseeing subsurface investigations, designs, and QA/QC. This role blends technical leadership with business development and mentoring across multiple project types.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, teams, and field/lab operations while ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements. PE licensure is required with possible SE/GE consideration depending on state.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master in Civil/Geotechnical/Geological Engineering.
• PE license required; SE or GE license highly depending on state.
• 10+ years geotechnical experience including project or team management.
• Proficiency with geotechnical software and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee geotechnical scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
• Review and oversee technical documents for accuracy and quality.
• Lead proposal efforts and grow the regional geotechnical practice.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop junior engineers and geologists.
• Direct field exploration programs, drilling operations, and lab testing.
