Qualifications

• Texas PE license or ability to obtain promptly.
• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong foundation and settlement analysis experience.
• Experience with both shallow and deep foundation systems.
• Independently manage geotechnical projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of Gulf Coast/Houston-area geology and soils.
• Communicate engineering recommendations clearly to clients and teams.
• Manage multiple active projects without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical projects from proposal and investigation through final report and construction support.
• Develop boring programs and coordinate field investigations.
• Review boring logs, laboratory results, groundwater conditions, and subsurface data.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and develop practical design recommendations.
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports.
• Develop recommendations for shallow and deep foundations, slabs, earthwork, pavement, settlement and related conditions.
• Coordinate directly with clients, drillers, laboratories, contractors, and project teams.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.
• Respond to technical questions during design and construction.
• Sign and seal engineering work within your responsible charge.
