Job summary

WSP is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Lead to lead design and analyses for bridges, tunnels, and soil/rock structures across New England. You will draft technical reports, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and advance geotechnical innovations while traveling to various project sites.

The role requires a PE license, 7–10 years of experience, and strong communication skills. Massachusetts compensation details apply with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical or Tunneling focus.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Engineer license required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with geotechnical design software and related tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform geotechnical design and analyses for bridges, buildings, tunnels, and soil/rock structures.
  • Prepare geotechnical memoranda, data reports and design reports.
  • Develop technical reports and presentations for project teams and clients.
  • Coordinate geotechnical work in New England and other areas.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams on mid‑level and multiple concurrent projects.
