Job summary

This senior role requires extensive consulting experience, licensure, and the ability to manage projects, mentor staff, and build client relationships while willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, geotechnical or structural engineering.
• Professional licensure (P.E.) is required.
• 10+ years of relevant consulting experience; 15+ desirable.
• Experience in business development and client management.
• Knowledge of geotechnical software and numerical modeling.
• Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
• OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client management, including proposals and plans.
• Mentor and manage senior, mid‑career and early‑career staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure repeat business through strong client relationships.
• Oversee delivery of multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Provide geotechnical/geostructural design and analyses.
• Characterize geotechnical sites and manage instrumentation systems.
• Prepare reports, calculations, drawings, and permit applications.
• Conduct fieldwork and travel to client sites as needed.
