Job summary

SLR Consulting (Americas) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Practice Manager to lead our North American geotechnical team across multiple locations including Boston, Agawam and Cheshire. The role focuses on technical leadership, client relationships, and growth strategy to deliver high-quality projects.

The successful candidate will drive business development, manage complex projects, and mentor a diverse team across geographies, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and client

Qualifications

Experience leading geotechnical engineering teams.
Proven ability to develop scopes of work and proposals.
Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills.
Track record of delivering complex geotechnical projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Lead the Geotechnical Engineering practice with authenticity, purpose and vigour.
Drive growth in line with market trends and opportunities, and manage resourcing.
Manage project backlog and KPIs across financial metrics.
Oversee risk management and quality control of project work and proposals.
Mentor and develop staff, fostering cross-geography collaboration.
Travel within US and Canada to engage with the team and clients.
