Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geostructural Engineer to join our Mid-Atlantic team, providing expert geotechnical and structural integration for excavation support and earth retaining systems.

You will mentor junior staff and lead multi-office technical teams while exceeding client expectations. The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery, and business development, with travel across the region and beyond.

Qualifications

• MS in Structural/Geotechnical/Geostructural Engineering is required.
• 12+ years of professional experience in engineering consulting.
• P.E. certification required.
• Strong work ethic and communication skills.
• Familiarity with detailed design and specification preparation.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical excellence and lead projects while supervising staff.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight, including Engineer of Record responsibilities.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training of staff.
• Coach, mentor, and supervise junior staff.
• Develop cross-office networking and lead engineering teams across multiple locations.
• Lead business development activities and contribute to proposals.
• Travel regionally and nationally as needed.
