Our client, a respected engineering consultancy, seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead technical delivery and strategic growth. You will guide geotechnical investigations, manage client relationships, and mentor teams across a range of infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, business development, and cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities to influence project direction and firm strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of geotechnical engineering experience across diverse project types.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (or ability to obtain quickly).
• Strong background in geotechnical analysis, reporting, and construction support.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations, analyses, and design for a wide range of project types.
• Oversee subsurface exploration programs, laboratory testing, and engineering evaluations.
• Provide recommendations for foundations, earthwork, slope stability, groundwater, and pavement design.
• Review and sign off on reports, calculations, and technical deliverables.
• Provide construction-phase support including QA/QC and field coordination.
