Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking a Field Engineer to support engineers in the field, perform laboratory testing, and conduct field observations of construction materials to ensure accurate data collection and reliable project outcomes.

The role requires adaptability, technical competency, and collaboration with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality services and contribute to the firm’s continued ESOP-based growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or related Engineering field.
• 0-3 years of experience in an engineering or science related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) and ability to achieve professional registration (PE).

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical field testing according to QA procedures.
• Perform soil laboratory tests according to QA procedures.
• Prepare reports of field and laboratory work.
• Communicate with clients to determine their project needs.
