Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) seeks a Field Engineer to support engineers and technicians in the field, perform laboratory testing, and observe construction materials. You will collect accurate data, assist in field drilling and testing, and contribute to project quality and safety in a dynamic, employee-owned environment.

The role requires 0-3 years of related experience, a Civil/Geological Engineering degree, and an EIT with PE eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or related Engineering field.
• 0-3 years of experience in engineering or science.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) and ability to achieve professional registration (PE).

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical field testing and soil laboratory tests according to QA procedures.
• Prepare field and laboratory reports and site visit documentation.
• Interact with clients to determine project needs and ensure data quality.
