Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to coordinate and complete project testing services while guiding a project team across multi-disciplinary tasks. This role demands a fully competent professional in conventional geotechnical engineering, capable of independent work and mentorship of junior staff.

You will lead technical reporting, coordinate field testing, and contribute to marketing efforts to meet department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with 10+ years of related experience.
• Advanced degree in Civil Geotechnical Engineering with 8+ years of related experience (preferred).
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration.
• Ability to obtain registration in other States, as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage geotechnical projects from start to finish.
• Direct a project team on multi-disciplinary assignments with client interaction.
• Prepare formal geotechnical reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate field testing and staff assignments.
• Assist in marketing/business development to meet department and company goals.
• Travel regionally as required.
