Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Denver, CO invites students to join as Intern/Co-op – Geotechnical Engineering. You will support a range of geotechnical projects, from fieldwork and data collection to calculations and report prep, gaining hands-on exposure to design plans and specifications.

You will work closely with geotechnical leadership, participate in site feasibility studies, and develop skills in engineering software while contributing to real projects.

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a 4-year or advanced degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Geotechnical coursework preferred.
• GPA of 3.0+ preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations and data collection.
• Observe foundation and earthwork activities and ensure conformance with plans.
• Prepare logs, forms, and field documentation.
• Perform calculations and learn geotechnical software under supervision.
• Prepare reports and exhibits using AutoCAD.
