Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a Geotechnical Intern/Co-op to support a range of field and office tasks under geotechnical leadership. You will assist with field investigations, data collection, and documentation, while gaining exposure to feasibility studies, reports, and design plans.

The role offers hands-on experience with fieldwork, calculations, and software tools, plus opportunities for mentorship and professional growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year or advanced degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Geotechnical coursework preferred and a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Assist with field investigations including borings, samples, and data collection.
• Observe construction activities and ensure conformance with plans.
• Prepare logs, field forms, and chain of custody records.
• Conduct site reconnaissance, data reviews, and prepare exhibits.
• Learn engineering analyses and geotechnical software; use AutoCAD for figures.
