Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering Bachelor’s program.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to perform diverse tasks including office and field work.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical field work including subsurface exploration observations and GPS-based boring layouts.
• Conduct construction observation and materials testing at sites; perform laboratory testing.
• Create basic plans and figures using AutoCAD and GIS; assist in geotechnical proposals and reports.
• Some travel may be required.
