GEI Consultants, Inc. seeks a motivated geotechnical professional for our Wakefield, MA office. You will work on diverse projects including buildings, infrastructure, dams, and waterfront development, performing analyses, coordinating field explorations, and preparing reports and specifications.

The role requires a BSCE, FE/EIT, and 2–4+ years of experience, with strong teamwork and communication. Travel and fieldwork year-round are required, with opportunities in a collaborative, employee-owned

Qualifications

• BSCE required with geotechnical coursework.
• FE/EIT certification preferred or in progress.
• 2–4+ years of geotechnical experience and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to travel and fieldwork year-round.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering analyses and design.
• Observe and manage field explorations and construction activities.
• Coordinate geotechnical laboratory testing and interpret results.
• Prepare reports and construction specifications; use AutoCAD.
• Assist with proposals and business development activities.
