The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and tackling field tasks with growing responsibility. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, and CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior geotechnical drilling experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communication with coworkers, customers, and supervisors.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Crew Chief in all aspects of drilling operation.
• Collects field samples and data.
• Returns field samples and data organized to the Project Manager.
• Maintains tooling, equipment, and vehicles.
• Troubleshoots mechanical problems and performs repairs.
• Uses PPE and follows safe work practices.
• Completes required paperwork and training on schedule.
• Operates vehicles safely.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.
• Lifts 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally.
• Reads, writes, and understands simple English instructions.
