Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a geotechnical drilling assistant for our Saint Cloud, MN office. The role supports the Crew Chief in drilling operations, assists with sample collection, data recording, and equipment maintenance, while ensuring safety and prompt paperwork completion.

The position requires willingness to travel up to 50–75% and the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, with a valid driver’s license preferred; CDL is a plus. A competitive compensation package is offered.

Qualifications

• Geotechnical drilling experience preferred.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs.
• Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, customers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Chief in all drilling operations.
• Collect field samples and data.
• Return samples and data organized for PM.
• Maintain tooling, equipment and vehicles.
• Promote safe work practices and complete paperwork.
• Operate vehicles safely; travel up to 50–75%.
