Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation seeks a geotechnical drilling assistant to join our Bloomington, MN office. You will support the Crew Chief in drilling operations, collect and organize field samples, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety practices.

Preferred candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, good problem-solving, and communication skills, with willingness to travel up to 50% and work outdoors in all weather. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assists Crew Chief in drilling operations and gains experience to work with minimal direction.
• Assists in collection of field samples and data; maintains PPE and safety practices.
• Maintains tooling, equipment, and vehicles; conducts basic repairs when needed.
• Completes required paperwork and training in a timely manner.
• Able to travel up to 50% and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
