Responsibilities include geotechnical investigations, wall design, hydrology studies, construction plans, and site testing. Travel may be required; valid driver's license and background check will be required.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
• Willingness to perform office and field tasks including outdoor work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in geotechnical investigations, wall/excavation support design, hydrology and hydraulics studies, and reinforced concrete design.
• Prepare construction plans.
• Support advanced earthquake engineering analyses.
• Perform construction observation and materials testing.
• Some travel may be required.
