Qualifications

• Assist with construction materials testing on active construction and engineering project sites.
• Support geotechnical field services, including sample collection and field testing activities.
• Transport and maintain field testing equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and project instructions in outdoor field environments.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• 3-5 years of related field, construction, construction materials testing, geotechnical, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying equipment or materials.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various project sites.
• Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a construction or field environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction materials testing and geotechnical field services at project sites.
• Help collect samples and perform basic testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Support field technicians, engineers, and project teams with daily site activities.
• Transport, organize, and maintain testing equipment and materials as needed.
• Follow project instructions, safety procedures, and field documentation requirements.
• Complete other field-related duties as assigned.
