Job summary

ARM Group LLC seeks a Construction Field Technician for its Geotechnical & Construction Testing practice. You will work with engineers, scientists, and project managers to deliver field-based observation and testing during study, implementation, and construction phases.

Travel to projects across our service area is required. Responsibilities include QA/QC field inspections, laboratory testing, density testing, and monitoring of subsurface activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Willingness to travel and potentially overnight stays.
• Team-oriented with the ability to perform hands-on fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction quality assurance/quality control field inspections.
• Conduct material laboratory quality control testing.
• Perform density testing and observation of soil placement.
• Perform field testing of concrete, soil/aggregate/bituminous paving materials.
• Monitor subsurface investigations and environmental sampling.
• Prepare daily field reports and test summaries.
