Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test and integrate new capabilities across a complex geospatial system.

You will work with Python, JavaScript and other modern languages, contributing from idea to production. You will collaborate with systems engineers, testers, and administrators, participate in daily standups, plan sprints, and maintain end-user documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development across the full lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Clojure, Java, JavaScript and related technologies.
• Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• GEOINT/SIGINT/IMINT domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing and integration of new capabilities from idea to production.
• Integrate capabilities across enterprise while meeting user needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint and release planning with the team.
• Draft documentation and end-user instructions as needed.
