Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) seeks a Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and test enterprise GIS applications. You will perform software development using Python, C#, C++, HTML, and JavaScript while maintaining technical documentation in GitLab and supporting geospatial data workflows.

Responsibilities include RMF compliance, ArcGIS Enterprise access management, and implementing OGC services. You’ll work in a DevSecOps team, integrating Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, with experience

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps workflows.
• Security integrated into GIS development lifecycle experience.
• AGILE software development experience.
• Experience with Git-based version control tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, customize, deploy, and test enterprise GIS applications.
• Perform software development using Python, C#, C++, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Author and maintain technical documentation (GitLab, user guides, versioning notes).
• Implement geospatial data acquisition, preparation, and conversion processes.
• Support RMF compliance for access controls and system security.
• Manage access roles and permissions within ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot OGC web services to support cross-platform data interoperability.
• Integrate containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Contribute to AI/ML/DL system support including training data management and model validation.
• Conduct QA/QC and vulnerability remediation aligned with STIG standards.
• Collaborate in requirements analysis and DevSecOps practices.
• Support COTS tools like ENVI, RemoteView, Erdas Imagine, ArcGIS, Skyline.
