Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test and integrate capabilities across a complex system, taking ideas to production with a focus on software quality and security.

You will collaborate with a cross‑functional team in a fast‑paced environment, implement microservice based solutions, and maintain documentation while pursuing excellence and security clearances. US Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance).
• Demonstrated experience developing with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Clojure, Java, JavaScript, etc.
• Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software with logical/mathematical solutions.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing and integration of new capabilities from idea to production.
• Integrate capabilities from different systems across the enterprise.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint and release planning, coordinating with team members.
• Write or contribute to documentation and end-user instructions/manuals, as necessary.
