Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain cloud-based services on AWS.

You will work with Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Java within an Agile team to deliver geospatial intelligence solutions for defense and federal clients. Expect a collaborative environment with Jira/Confluence workflows, integration of open-source tools, and a focus on code quality through testing and CI.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or a Masters with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI; willingness to obtain polygraph.
• Experience with REACT or a modern JavaScript framework (min 3 years).
• 3+ years of Python, C# development, and/or Java.
• At least 3 years of unit testing, CI tools, and GitLab version control.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of working in a service-oriented/Cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based services using AWS Lambda, EC2, and core AWS services.
• Write and maintain code in C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Create, document, and manage functionality in GitLab repositories.
• Apply DevOps practices to deliver features within an Agile environment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies using Jira and Confluence.
• Design APIs and database integrations for React/Redux front-ends.
• Integrate open-source packages for data visualization and filtering.
• Ensure code quality via unit tests and build tests across development efforts.
• Collaborate with teammates to review tickets, test functionality, and deliver user-story-enabled features.
