Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar license in good standing.
• Solid foundation in Georgia workers' compensation law.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a Georgia workers’ compensation defense caseload with senior attorneys.
• Review medical records, claims files, and related documents to evaluate exposure and strategy.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
• Communicate with insurance carriers, adjusters, clients, and opposing counsel about case status.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with Georgia WC laws, rules, and procedures.
• Assist with settlements, mediations, depositions, hearings, and other resolutions.
• Prepare case summaries and maintain organized files.
• Provide professional client service and support team success.
