Job summary

Courier Connection is seeking a growth-oriented Sales Account Executive to join our outside sales team in a hunter role. You will cover the state of Georgia, prospect new business, manage the sales process, and close contracts for our courier and logistics services.

The ideal candidate has proven inside and outside sales experience, strong negotiating skills, and a track record of building long-term client relationships. This role offers comprehensive training and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven inside and outside sales experience, preferably in logistics or courier services.
• Strong selling, prospecting, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, stay organized and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to small audiences.
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive and a results-oriented mindset.
• Competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Proactively generate and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
• Sales & Closing: Close a minimum of $1,000 in new customer sales per month to meet or exceed targets.
• Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Sales Presentations: Conduct in-person and virtual presentations to demonstrate service value and close deals.
• Pricing & Negotiation: Present pricing and contract terms in alignment with company standards.
• CRM & Reporting: Manage leads, track follow-ups, and provide accurate weekly productivity reports.
• Time & Territory Management: Balance customer visits, outbound calls, and administrative duties.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with operations, dispatch, and customer service teams for seamless delivery.
• Customer Advocacy: Gather client feedback and communicate needs to internal teams for improvement.
• Other Duties: Follow policies, maintain professionalism, and support additional projects as assigned.
