Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a GEOINT Mission Processing Senior Project Engineer to lead the ground enterprise team. This role guides GEOINT processing architecture, fielding mission management and data processing systems, and leads a team of engineers to evolve ground capabilities for the government’s mission enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) related discipline.
• Ten+ years of applicable experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Experience in GEOINT, mission processing systems, or software development/testing.
• Experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Ability to travel approximately one week per month.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph; U.S. citizenship required to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor to the US Government for GEOINT radar/EO mission data processing software applications.
• Lead Aerospace SMEs in maturing new technologies, integrating systems and sensors, and delivering resilient ground architecture.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure user needs are understood and satisfied.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to rapidly field software capabilities in a dynamic mission environment.
• Identify new technologies and integrate commercially available capabilities into the framework.
