Aerotek is seeking a Construction Laborer for field-based work on geo-technical projects across multiple states. You will assist in foundation and earth retention tasks, operate and maintain equipment, and travel extensively to project sites.

The role requires physical labor, the ability to lift heavy loads, and willingness to work outdoors in variable weather. Periodic night shifts and long hours are possible, with 56-hour weeks and safety compliance emphasized.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of general construction or related work.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Experience with general labor tasks (cleanup, trenching, material handling, basic concrete).
• Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts and skid steers.

Aufgaben

• Perform site cleanup, trench digging, material handling and general labor tasks.
• Move and stage drill piping, rebar, and lagging boards for foundation work.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely according to manufacturer specs.
• Assist with rigging, hoisting and spotting per instructions.
• Support soil leveling and ground manipulation for access and transport.
• Tend and operate cement mixers, air compressors, generators, pumps and other power equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and safe, following safety orientations.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and communicate potential solutions.
• Follow safety regulations and supervisor instructions on all sites.
• Travel to project sites across multiple states; perform work on long-duration projects.
