Job summary

Aerotek is seeking Traveling Construction Laborers for foundation and geotechnical projects across the Rocky Mountain region and surrounding states. Local Colorado residents are preferred, with a steady, long-run schedule and substantial hours including some OT.

You’ll work outdoors, travel roughly half the time, and join a team handling dirt work, concrete, and related tasks. Responsibilities include trenching, material handling, equipment spotting, soil compaction, rebar, site cleanup, and

Traveling Construction Laborer – $20-$24/hr + OT

Must Be Local to Colorado

$20-$24/hour

$40/Day Per Diem When Eligible

Hiring Construction Laborers for specialized foundation and geotechnical construction projects throughout the Rocky Mountain region and surrounding states.

We're looking for hardworking people with experience in construction, dirt work, concrete, agriculture, welding, or landscaping who are comfortable traveling and want steady work with plenty of hours.

What You’ll Do

• Dig trenches and perform shovel work
• Move hoses, drill pipe, and construction materials
• Spot equipment and assist operators
• Compact and level soil
• Assist with rebar and wood lagging
• Jobsite and equipment cleanup
• Assist with rigging, hoisting, and power equipment as needed

Requirements

• 1+ year of construction or similar hands‑on experience
• Able to regularly lift 75+ lbs.

Forklift or skid steer experience is a plus.

Pay & Travel

• $20-$24/hour
• Average 50 hours/week
• $40/day per diem when eligible
• Mileage reimbursement for qualifying travel
• Projects typically last 1-2 months
• Approximately 10% night work

Experienced equipment operators may qualify for $24-$27/hour.

Build experience in specialty foundations, drilling, ground improvement, and earth‑retention construction while working on commercial, civil, and industrial projects.

Must be local to Colorado and comfortable traveling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
