AIMRIGHT Testing & Engineering is seeking a Geotechnical Field Engineer to support field work across its geotechnical projects. You will monitor explorations, log borings, collect samples, and prepare accurate daily field reports for engineers and project teams.

This travel-based, rotational role operates on a 21/7 schedule and requires comfort with outdoor fieldwork at active construction and drilling sites. Opportunities exist for certification and career growth.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to interpret technical information and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication for field documentation.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced field environment.
• Ability to obtain health, safety, and testing certifications as required.
• Background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• One+ years of related field experience.

Responsabilidades

• Log soil borings and subsurface explorations; record depths and sampling intervals.
• Describe and classify soils in the field per ASTM/USCS procedures.
• Complete detailed field notes and boring logs; prepare daily field reports.
• Collect, label, and transport samples.
• Maintain, calibrate, and safely operate field equipment.
• Conduct field inspections safely per AIMRIGHT guidelines.
• Coordinate with drillers and site personnel; communicate field conditions clearly.
• Assist with laboratory testing and sample processing.
• Support CMT/field engineering work as needed.
