Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is seeking a staff-level Geotechnical Engineer to support large-scale energy projects across North America. Responsibilities include pre-construction investigations, geo-structural analyses, and developing design documents under professional supervision.

You will collaborate with civil, structural, geotechnical, and construction teams to provide robust geo-structural solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT/FE certification with licensure intent.
• 1–4 years design experience in geotechnical/structural field as intern or in co-op.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Familiar with geotechnical techniques and codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute geo-structural engineering tasks on projects.
• Design deep foundations and retaining structures.
• Perform limit equilibrium and finite element modeling.
• Prepare reports and communicate with project teams.
• Support field subcontractors and site activities as needed.
• Develop construction drawings and design specifications.
