Job summary

Quanta Services’ QISG unit is seeking a Design Engineer focused on the structural aspects of energy infrastructure. You will work with an in-house team to develop construction drawings and specifications, and provide engineering support from design through construction across North America.

The role is an office-based position with opportunities to travel up to 25% and to collaborate with civil, structural, geotechnical, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a civil engineering degree and EIT/FE certification.
• 1–4 years in structural design with concrete/steel.
• Experience with structural software and design tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute structural engineering tasks for energy infrastructure projects.
• Perform analyses and develop construction drawings and specs.
• Provide engineering support during construction.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and project management.
• Occasional site visits across North America.
• Prepare written reports and communicate findings clearly.
• Engage in industry sector activities and events.
