Job summary

Fulgent Therapeutics LLC in the Pacific Northwest/Alaska region seeks an experienced Genomics Sales Director to drive regional sales performance. You will implement regional business plans, forecast with analytics, and maintain strong customer relationships while meeting revenue goals.

You are a self-starter with an ownership mindset, adept at strategic, consultative selling, and skilled in Salesforce CRM. Travel up to 50% and collaborate with leadership to expand genomic testing solutions

Qualifications

BS or MS in a life sciences field.
1–2 years of clinical, diagnostics, or biotech sales experience.
Preference for rare diseases, genetics, and genomics experience.
Proven sales accomplishments meeting goals and needs of customers.
Experience calling on Children’s Hospitals and academic institutions in rare diseases.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
Self-directed with strong work ethic and initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across multicultural, dispersed teams.
Strong ownership and accountability for territory performance.
Salesforce CRM competence.
Ability to explain policies and procedures to clinicians and the public.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Maintain consistent contact with customers and partners to ensure flow of information and opportunities.
Develop and manage regional business plans and forecasts based on data analytics.
Forecast sales, track quotas, and update CRM with region data.
Educate customers on Fulgent’s products and capabilities; stay informed on scientific advances.
Provide strategic input to leadership on market trends and product improvements.
Travel within assigned region to meet clients and solidify relationships.
