Job summary

Eurofins USA Genomic Services is seeking a Business Development Account Manager to drive revenue by selling genomics products and services. The role requires travel to client locations to establish leads and maintain relationships, with a focus on face-to-face engagement and technical presentations.

You will promote all products and services, manage regional activities, and provide regular region reports to management. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Life Science or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in life science research.
• 5 years of Genomic Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to identify and contact decision makers through cold calls, research and networking.
• Ability to develop a strong technical background in molecular biology or genomics.
• Able to present complex scientific data clearly.
• Excellent time management, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines and quotas.
• Regular travel within the sales region; lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sell Eurofins Genomics products, services and solutions to clients.
• Travel to prospect locations to establish leads and relationships.
• Conduct visits and meetings with proposed/current clients within the region.
• Perform sales presentations on complex scientific products.
• Manage sales productivity software to track selling activities.
• Collect competitive information to support marketing and sales plans.
• Provide regular reporting to management on regional developments.
