Job summary

Novogene America is seeking an Account Manager to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory. You will report to the District Sales Director, manage accounts, and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth. Must reside in Raleigh/Durham, NC, with 50% travel and remote work options.

The role requires a life sciences degree, strong genomics knowledge, and 2+ years of genomics sales experience. Excellent communication and business acumen are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of sequencing/NGS and genomics required.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, and strong business acumen required
• 2+ years of life science sales experience utilizing genomics-related technologies preferred.
• Proven track record of success generating new customer leads and driving business growth preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, establish, and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the territory and specific accounts, aligning with budget objectives and financial growth targets.
• Maintain an understanding and knowledge of the company’s products and services to provide accurate information to clients and key stakeholders.
• Manage existing accounts, expand the customer base in the territory, and develop profitable long-term accounts.
• Participate in sales activities and attend events/conferences, as planned by the sales leadership.
• Maintain CRM database with up-to-date information.
• Understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs, and inform the internal stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties related to sales and territory management as assigned.
• 50% travel/ field-based activities required.
