Job summary

Novogene America is seeking an Account Manager to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory. You will report to the District Sales Director and manage designated accounts while developing and implementing plans to grow the business.

The role is remote with travel of 2-3 days per week within the Boston area; you must live in Boston, MA. Base salary ranges from $75K to $100K with performance-based incentives, plus medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of sequencing/next-generation sequencing and genomics required.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, and strong business acumen required
• 2+ years of life science sales experience utilizing genomics-related technologies preferred.
• Proven track record of success generating new customer leads and driving business growth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, establish, and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the territory and specific accounts, aligning with budget objectives and financial growth targets, under the guidance and mentorship of the District Sales Director.
• Maintain an understanding and knowledge of the company’s products and services to provide accurate information to clients and key stakeholders.
• Manage existing accounts, expand the customer base in the territory, and develop profitable long-term accounts.
• Participate in sales activities and attend events/conferences, as planned by the sales leadership.
• Maintain CRM database with up-to-date information.
• Understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs, and inform the internal stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties related to sales and territory management as assigned.
• 50% travel/ field-based activities required.
