Genomic Medicine Cell Therapy Workflow Development Leader

Join Cytiva as the Genomic Medicine Cell Therapy Workflow Development Leader and contribute to life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology innovations.

Role Overview: This customer-centric commercial role involves working with cell therapy companies from pre-clinical stages to commercialization. You will identify opportunities, promote Cytiva’s cell therapy products, and support their integration into customer workflows. The position reports to the US and Canada Cell Therapy Leader, covering the mid-Atlantic region, and is fully remote. Preferably, the role is based near Maryland/DC, Baltimore, or Frederick, with consideration for RTP, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and develop sales opportunities, manage leads, and maintain a sales funnel to meet targets using CRM software.
2. Serve as the cell therapy subject matter expert, supporting Account Managers and Field Application Specialists in customer engagements.
3. Create account strategies and territory plans, engaging with decision-makers across various levels.
4. Develop and maintain knowledge of Cytiva’s cell therapy portfolio and competitive landscape.
5. Build internal networks to foster collaboration and enhance customer satisfaction across functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• At least 3 years of field sales experience with proven success in exceeding goals.
• Deep understanding of the cell therapy workflow and cGMP manufacturing support.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Experience managing a territory funnel, sales forecasting, and tracking objectives.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to travel approximately 25%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Physical ability to lift/move equipment up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Extras:

• Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences or an MBA.
• Experience with Salesforce.com, Qlik, and familiarity with cGMP practices.

Compensation and Benefits: Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 USD, with potential bonuses up to 50%. We offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k). The role supports flexible, remote work arrangements.
