Job summary

OHSU is seeking a Clinical Operations Supervisor within the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics to lead day-to-day operations of ambulatory clinics and consult services. You will supervise front-line scheduling teams and back-office staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize EMR usage across the practice.

This role requires strong leadership, HR management, and budgeting skills, with responsibility for staffing, performance evaluations, and service excellence across 11 clinics

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent education/experience required.
• Experience in managed care, billing and scheduling preferred.
• Demonstrated HR experience and people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical administrative and medical support staff.
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and patient flow for ambulatory clinics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and department policies.
• Lead quality improvement and service-excellence initiatives.
• Coordinate with Practice Manager on HR and administrative duties.
