Job summary

Adventist Health Portland seeks an operations-focused professional to oversee daily clinic functions for a small multi-provider practice. You will manage personnel, finances, clerical tasks, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

Collaborating with Practice Manager, you will support revenue cycles, utilize performance metrics, and coach staff to uphold AH policies while maintaining high-quality patient care in a busy Portland setting.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.
• Five years' technical experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CMA/CCMA/MA/NHA or equivalent medical assisting certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of 1 medical practice with 1–3 providers, including personnel, financial, clerical, housekeeping, and maintenance and purchasing functions.
• Ensures clinics are operated in compliance with regulatory requirements and AH policies.
• Oversees revenue management policies to support billing and collections.
• Utilizes performance reporting structures and regional/clinic metrics to guide improvements.
• Trains and coaches assigned staff and performs other duties as needed.

Education
