The J.R. Simplot Company is seeking a Genetic Selection Lead to provide strategic, long-term genetic selection research, technology, and insights to strengthen Innvictis Seed Solutions’ product portfolio.

This role will support the Eastern Cornbelt: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Missouri. Typically, this position requires MS or PhD or substantial seed industry experience, with extensive travel during growing and off seasons for training and discussing key genetic characteristics with major

Qualifications

• Requires MS or PhD OR substantial experience (>20 years) in seed industry in field/research and genetic evaluation positions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver genetic expertise and strategic development activities.
• Develop national and regional product strategies with marketing and sales management.
• Deliver market analyses and product training to field sales and external customers.
• Interpret complex data to drive market-focused decisions.
• Facilitate development and training of market and demand planning tools.
