Genesis Design Center - Guest Experience Specialist

Genesis Design Center America, part of Hyundai America Technical Center Inc. (HATCI) is looking for a Guest Experience Specialist to join our design team in El Segundo, CA


As a Customer Experience Specialist of Genesis Design Center, you'll become highly skilled at uncovering unique features of Genesis Design Studio, then following through with meaningful experience. Not only the 1st person guests meet when they enter the studio, but you'll be the person who guides them - touring, explaining, and even setting up unforgettable time. You perform other roles within the studio too, whether it's maintaining visual merchandising or assisting team members. Always curious, you stay on top of news about products and initiatives, ready to apply your learning in guest interactions. You'll be provided with training to be successful.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide meaningful experiences and services to a variety of clients visiting Genesis Design El Segundo, from entry to departure.

  • Develop unique experience and storytelling contents for the Genesis Design El Segundo and deliver these contents to visitors through guided tours (acting as a docent)

  • Ensure a positive experience for VIP guests by delivering high-quality attentive care services.

  • Support various events, such as exhibitions, conferences and events held at the Genesis Design El Segundo, including guest reception and event support


HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Agility to learn new products and features with an interest in technology, particularly Genesis design.

  • Ability to deliver great customer experiences in any environment and to be invigorated by constant personal interaction.

  • Strong communication skills that let you converse as freely and comfortably with small groups as with individual guests / VIP.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Communication or Business Administration & Management related majors preferred.

  • Bilingual (Korean & English)- Native-level proficiency in both Korean and English and excellent communication skills with a rich command of language.

  • Three or more years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in exhibition, event management, curation, or related fields.

  • Skills in developing tour content and storytelling for design center facilities.

  • Interest and expertise in diverse areas such as art and culture.

  • Strong understanding and expertise in the automotive design field.

  • Proactive, disciplined, communicative and outgoing people-person with a go-getter attitude.

  • Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills.

Compensation Range : 26.92~36.05 (hourly) / $56,000~$75,000 (Annually)
