Job description

Genesis10 seeks a Revenue Accountant for a remote 12+ month contract assignment with our client, recognized as one of Glassdoor's Best Places to Work 2025.

Genesis10 is seeking an Accountant for a long-term remote contract. This role is essential in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end account analysis and prepare corresponding journal entries.
2. Generate and maintain monthly general ledger accounts.
3. Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
4. Support daily cash transaction processing and reconciliation.
5. Assist with the Accounts Receivable payment application process.
6. Develop and document policies and procedures for areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license.
• In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition).
• Experience interpreting and analyzing business contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles.
• Familiarity with data upload processes and related accounting systems.

Compensation: $43.00 per hour, W2.
