Job summary

Generac is seeking a Technical Service Trainer to join our on-site team at the Wisconsin service training center. You will deliver comprehensive training to technicians on generator repair and installation, guiding start-up, operation, and troubleshooting across Generac products.

The role requires hands-on curriculum development, clear technical documentation, and collaboration with internal departments to fabricate training units.

Qualifications

• 3 years field technician experience in HVAC, automotive, generator or similar discipline or 3 years combined field technician experience and technical training experience
• Willingness to travel occasionally may be required
• Experience with creating training materials and curricula preferred

Responsibilities

• Instruct/Train technicians in generator repair and installation
• Develop and present technical training curriculum
• Write and review technical documentation such as owner, installation, diagnostic and service and training bulletins
• Establish warranty flat rates for new product prototypes
• Work with internal departments to fabricate training units
• Other duties as assigned
