Job summary

Generac in Concord, North Carolina seeks a Technical Service Trainer to deliver comprehensive training to technicians on generator repair and installation. This onsite role supports the service training team and leverages technical expertise to guide start-up, operation, and troubleshooting across Generac products.

Responsibilities include developing curriculum, writing and reviewing technical documentation, establishing warranty rates for prototypes, and collaborating with internal departments

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
3 years field technician experience in HVAC, automotive, generator or related discipline, or 3 years combined field tech and technical training experience.
Willing to obtain DOT drivers license (Non CDL) if needed.

Responsibilities

Instruct/Train technicians in all aspects of generator repair and installation.
Develop and present technical training curriculum.
Write and review technical documentation such as owner, installation, diagnostic and flat rate manuals and service and training bulletins.
Establish warranty flat rates for new product prototypes.
Work with internal departments to fabricate training units.
Willing to obtain DOT driver's license (Non CDL) if needed.
