Job summary

Generac is seeking a Technical Service Trainer to join the Service Training team at our Houston, TX training centre. You will deliver comprehensive training to technicians on generator repair and installation, guiding start-up, operation, and troubleshooting across Generac products.

Essential duties include developing curricula, writing manuals and bulletins, and collaborating with internal departments to fabricate training units.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years field technician experience in HVAC, automotive, generator or similar discipline OR 3 years combined field technician experience and technical training experience.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; curriculum development experience and ASE certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instruct technicians in all aspects of generator repair and installation.
• Develop and present technical training curriculum.
• Write and review technical documentation such as owner, installation, diagnostic, and service manuals and bulletins.
